Glen D. Kalb

	Glen D. Kalb, 76, of Troy, Ill., passed away Monday, January 29, 2001 at Caring First Nursing Home in Breese, Ill.
	 Mr. Kalb had been a safety specialist for Amirsure Insurance Co.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Maryville and a charter member of its Senior Club.  He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of WW II.  He served in the South Pacific aboard the U.S.S. Montpelier as an anti-aircraft gunner.
	Surviving are his wife Jean (Moak) Kalb of Troy; sons, Timothy J. (Becky) Kalb of Troy and Mark A. (Kathy) Kalb of Red Wing, Minn.; brother, Clifford Kalb of Galesburg; sister, Dorothy (Larry) Koelling of Largo, Fla.; grandchildren, Andy and Kasi Lynn Kalb and nieces and nephews.
 	He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Gertrude (Emery) Kalb; two brothers, Raymond and Robert Kalb and two sisters, Pearl Williams and Helen Freeman.
	Funeral services were Thursday, February 1 at the First Baptist Church in Maryville with Rev. Mark Kalb officiating.  Interment was in Mueller Hill Cemetery at Pinckneyville.
	 Visitation was Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
	 Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Maryville, Ill.
	 Wolfersberger Funeral Home in OFallon was in charge of arrangements.
